Distance and elevation are estimates from the GPX and may differ from GPS-device calculations.
One of my favourite rides. Its highlights are the climb to Invergneux Pass and the approximately 15 km of singletrack descending back towards Cogne.
The original notes give 1,400 m of ascent, with the final 300 m to the pass requiring bike carrying, making this an outing for fit riders.
The descent is not uniformly extreme, but less confident riders will need to dismount for some stepped sections. More technical riders may particularly enjoy those features.
The contributor suggests a trail bike with around 140 mm of travel, or an enduro bike to enjoy the descent. An XC bike with 100–120 mm can also be used, with less comfort and flow on the rougher or more technical sections. These are personal equipment observations, not a universal suitability guarantee.
