What is the difference between Segment Battle and Race Compare?

Race Compare

Race Compare is designed for complete race playback.

Instead of focusing on a single segment, it replays the entire activity using the real timestamps stored inside the GPX files.

This allows you to:

  • follow both athletes during the full race
  • understand where the time gap is created
  • replay the action at different playback speeds
  • jump instantly to any point in the race timeline

Race Compare works best when both GPX files contain timestamps for every track point.

Segment Battle

Segment Battle is designed for detailed analysis of a specific part of a route.

You manually select:

  • the start point
  • the end point
  • the exact section you want to analyze

This is ideal for:

  • climbs
  • descents
  • technical sectors
  • Strava segment analysis
  • corner-by-corner comparisons
